Your Delegate and Senators listened to you. You contacted them to protect WV public lands. The House amended SB 468 to prohibit any new motorized trails; and the Senate concurred. The law then passed both Chambers overwhelmingly.
This commonsense action avoids expensive motorized trail construction and maintenance; protects the soil, habitat, watersheds, and streams in public lands; and assures the continued quiet enjoyment of hiking, kayaking, hunting, fishing and other non-motorized recreation activities.
Take a moment and thank your representatives for listening to you - and for protecting public lands.
Fill out this form to thank your Delegate and both Senators. We encourage you to customize your message for more impact – let them know how the traditional values of our public lands is personal to you and that you appreciate their action to protect public lands!
