You've shown true leadership for the public lands which make West Virginia and America so great. Thank you! At a time when our country is so divided, it's heartening to see Congress come together in support of the great outdoors. Our public lands are a salve for hurting nation and your role in putting politics aside in true bipartisan fashion is to be commended. As you know, the Great American Outdoors Act permanently and fully funds the Land and Water Conservation Fund, which is essential to West Virginia's outdoor recreation economy. It also provides a much needed investment in addressing the maintenance backlog plaguing our nation's public lands. Passage of the Great American Outdoors Act demonstrates that environmental conservation and economic development can go hand and hand.
